A. Attention getting technique: Who has the control?
B. Briefly explanation: Explain what is intrinsic and extrinsic motivation, and how does this works.
C. Thesis statement: Studies have shown that intrinsic as well as extrinsic motivation; have had a great impact in college students.

II. Intrinsic motivation in students: Yessi
A. Explanation on how knowledge encourages students to get better academic performances.
B. Explanation on how accomplishments encourage students to get better academic performances.
C. Explanation on how stimulation encourages students to get better academic performances.
D. Comparison between academic results in students being motivated by intrinsic motivation, and the ones who are motivated by external rewards.

III. Extrinsic motivation in students: Edilmis
A. Explaining how parent’s rewards to students can motivate the students to perform better at school.
B. Explaining how money encourages students to perform well at school without caring about the concept.
C. Comparison between students that are motivated to perform well at school by extrinsic motivation and students that are motivated by internal award.
D. Explaining how students can be satisfied doing well at school, but waiting for a recompense at the end.

IV. Conclusion: Yuliet
A. Re-state the thesis statement: Sometimes, we tend to look for external sources in order to find our happiness. However, we have this joy closer than we even think.
B. Summarized what we have been discussing.
C. End with a good thought or idea: There is no room for failure. We have seen that the power of success is in our hands; therefore, we must take advantage of it.

  1. Good outline. Do work on your editing. There are numerous errors throughout the outline that detract from the quality of the work. Even your title is off. It should read "The Power to Succeed" not The Power to Success."
